A huge thank you to the talented actors who came to the first reading of our webseries, The C.L.I.T. The turnout was more than we were hoping for! Not only did we see our work and our characters come to life, it generated a whole new wave of ideas and inspiration. ACTORS!!Annina Kaski, Megan Lockhurst, Kat Beaty, Sofie Frost, Benji Dotan,Deborah Sutcliffe. Thank you and we hope to work with all of you again on up coming episodes. We are at the final stage of concluding our final draft for the first episode. The goal is to commence casting by the end of August, 2015 and be ready to shoot by mid-September. With such an incredible amount of accomplished female talent as we've encountered in London, this project aims to broaden the scope for female actors to play challenging principle roles and break from the stereotypical “Hero's Girlfriend” and“Prostitute A” or “Rape Victim C”.

SYNOPSIS

 

There are 8.3 million people in London. For every 11 there is a CCTV camera watching and recording.

Karen just became Senior Partner at the agency. She leads the perfect life. She's married to Matt, the perfect husband, they have two adorable daughters and they live in an almost perfect neighborhood. After being caught by Matt and her two daughters in the act with another woman at work, Matt kindly asks her to move out. Karen blames the incident on exhaustion and stress resulting from work. Heart broken, yet overly understanding, Matt insists that she take some time to discover the "New Her".

At work, Sean, her ostentatious boss is delighted with the situation and assigns her a special project. She must infiltrate the potential consumer demographic he says hasn't yet been tapped. "The Closet Lesbian".
